Clive Barker's Book of Blood Movie Trailer

One of the most well-known horror authors of all time, Clive Barker, brings us another foray into one of his many dark and thoroughly incomprehensible worlds. If you don't believe me on the incomprehensible part, I've got two words for you: Night. Breed.

Anyway, this chapter, Clive Barker's Book of Blood, pits a paranormal research against a college student whose body is rapidly becoming the bulletin board system of the dead. Check out the trailer!

Clive Barker's work has always been something of a mixed bag, but after Midnight Meat Train, even I'm inclined to believe he may not be a complete waste after all. Will this new chapter reinforce his improving status, or drop him back to the bad old days? We'll find out this September. Some stephen kings are decent (Shining, Pet Semetary I etc).

I've never read anything by Clive Barker. I think the movie is decent. I like the theme, I like how it portrays something as dark as "hell's servant" - and I also like the fact that there's something disturbing, but beautiful about the ending.
