yo, I've got some tips for you.
check the controls because you probably set it to walk now, and you can also sprint which goes even faster and uses stamina. Go to riverwood (and don't attack any chicken, that will add a bounty to your head in the whole whiterun hold) and talk to Alvor there and follow that quest line, because it's the main quest line.
