  • @fatcatsarefun rock music always builds up on the shoulders of others, stop being a whinny cunt and enjoy music

  • @fatcatsarefun so what you'd prefer it if they just sung some repetative pop shit

  • awesome

  • everyone is indie nowadays and there dressing like preps with a Harrington jacket over them which aren't indie there for skinheads and mods

  • very good

  • does daman albarn sing "Always should be someone you love to fuck" at 8:43?

I didn't know 'the word' was on after the watershed.

Oh I love Portishead, Sigur Ros, Slowdive, Placebo, My Blood Valentine, Catherine Wheel, Pale Saints, Loop, Mogwai, and all the others.

But to be fair, sonically they all bleed together. Not that I'm trying to prove the validity of American Post-Punk (or Gen X. if you will), but European bands kinda tend to just steal whatever the America underground is into at the time and turning it on it side, calling it something new. (Blues> Rock, Punk > New Wave, Grunge > Shoegaze)
