A good defence method is to put carpet grippers at the top of your fence facing inwards so if someone tries to vault your fence they get quite a surprise haha

@Mr123345667899 In Japan such devices were known as makibishi. Ninjas were known to use caltrops to cover their rear to keep someone from sneaking up behind them. Made of stainless steel, sold in a box of 10 pieces.

Caltrops serve to slow down the advance of horses, war elephants, and human troops. It was said to be particularly effective against the soft feet of camels. In more modern times, caltrops could be effective against wheeled vehicles.
