Canibus' nonsensical pseudo-intellectual scientific and philosophical bars wouldn't help him at all in a battle. Celph is a wordsmith and a battle emcee, it's what he excels in and Canibus wouldn't be able to handle that. "I don't puff weed but I could still smoke Canibus" alone would ruin him.
