The Linburger Boys Choir was founded in 1967 by Bishop Dr. Wilhelm Kempf and is now one of the most known Boys-Choirs of Germany. The focus of the choir is to sing at the mass of the Cathedral of LImburg and other churches. The choir went also on concert tours in Germany and England, Ireland, France, Italy, Finnland, Poland, Canada, Russia, Israel, South Africa and the USA. The choir boys reheare five every day, in smaler grups and with the complete choir. 30 of the Boys life in a Boarding School, 120 come from Limburg and the surrounding.

This choir was trained and conducted by a former chorister of the Regensburger Domspatzen for 12 years. The soloists on this recording reflect his heritage.
