Spain Is Ready To Help The Armed Forces Of The Philippines On South China Sea

Spain is ready to support the modernization efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and is willing to provide equipment to boost the military's capabilities.

Constantino Mendez Martinez, Spain's Vice-Minister of Defense, said yesterday they are willing to give second-hand defense articles if requested by the Philippine government.

Martinez said Spain has naval and air assets that may be offered to the Philippines upon the request of the AFP.

@tascam10 They are trying to help. This doesn't mean we are still under their colonization gosh.... We still need help China is a giant country and very powerful compared to our Philippine Island. Past is past it's time to heal all those bad that happened to us. American is one of our colonizer but still we have ties with them, We even had American-Filipino war after 1898 and thousand of Filipinos were killed. Why not reconnecting with a nice relationship with Spain. We have to be open minded.
