Volunteers sorted tons of food that Martin County residents left by their mailboxes for letter carriers to pick up as part of the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive.

House of Hope volunteers sort the food into categories, including staples such as canned vegetables, fruit, tomato products, meats & fish, and large & small soups. The food is further sorted into rice, cereal, pasta and other "options," which peanut butter, jellies and jams, boxed potatoes, baking products, juice, and countless other food items.

It's hard to imagine operating House of Hope without this single-day influx of food, which brings in enough to last one-quarter of the year!

Thank you National Association of Letter Carriers, Martin County residents, and House of Hope staff and volunteers!
