Rockford November 10, 2010 - The City of Rockford Traffic Commission taking it's lead from the city works department and city legal department that both take their orders from Mayor Larry Morrissey gave a resounding "no" to allowing the pro-life mobile ultrasound motor-home a parking place near Rockford's abortion mill.
The Rockford Pro-Life Initiative made the case to the traffic commission on Wednesday evening that because of the actions of the Rockford abortion mill landlord blocking the proven lifesaving mobile ultrasound from parking near the abortion mill, and using illegal means to do it, that for the good of the people of Rockford a parking place should be secured for the ultrasound near the abortion mill.
Mayor Morrissey and those who work for him would have none of it. They had their minds made up before they even heard both sides. It was clear at this meeting that their was no chance for any other decision than blocking the mobile ultrasound again. The Rockford city works department joined the abortion mill lawyer in speaking against women having the opportunity to receive a free ultrasound.
Wayne Websters lawyer also explained if the mobile ultrasound is near the clinic it would hurt Mr. Webster business. So the Mayor and those who work for him chose blood money over the good of the people of Rockford.
After the traffic commission voted against a parking place for the mobile ultrasound they were reminded by a pro-lifer that their vote would result in the deaths of many children. They remained silent and simply looked away.
Below is a video of the presentation made to the traffic commission by the Rockford Pro-Life Initiative. We wanted to bring you what we believe was incorrect information given by Wayne Websters lawyer and the city worked department to the traffic commission but were ordered by the head of the traffic commission to turn off all of our cameras when they spoke. So much for life and truth in Rockford.
Good presentation.
