@drmrboy29 Actually, you have a valid point, drmrboy29. Since the comment I made last year, a lot of my thoughts were on how things have changed since 9/11. But recently, I have found that the general aviation community and small airports are surprisingly accepting of most people who are interested in their planes and want to take photos and videos. If you get to know some of the people there, you could probably even get videos inside the fence, and some good close-up shots.

@cnnw3929 Huh? What country are you in? There is nothing illegal about shooting videos of airplanes - Even from inside the fence, if it's not an airline airport. (That's not illegal either, provided you have proper access credentials.) It might freak someone out, and they might call the cops, but the worst you'll get is a conversation.

@HDaviator And you would know this by way of firsthand experience? Dukes are high maintenance in the hands of unprepared owners. For owners that know how to maintain the plane and how to fly it, she's a helluva bird. Stick to your old issues of Flying magazine and flight simulators rather than trying to regurgitate what you hear while you're out sweeping hangars in exchange for a discovery flight ride.
