I beg to differ about the joke being racist. It's simply making a joke of the fact that it's fairly common for the french to take long lunches as do a fair few other nations. I myself have worked quite a lot with french people as I stated in an earlier comment and they ALL went for 2 hour lunches. A joke about a harmless stereotype means nothing. I'm quite certain the french say far worse things about us. Either way, it's free speech in action and you can't do a damn thing about it!

are you illiterate? as i clearly explained, i was only curious as to why it is concidered acceptable, when with a different word in place of french it wouldnt be. as long as theyre only jokes, i dont give a fuck about racist jokes, this is called gaining an understanding of how the boundaries work in main stream society.
