Ron and Fez; Rutger Hauer Power Hour

During the 102.7 WNEW days Ron & Fez did a ten show week--Mon through Fri, one from 11am-3pm the other from 7pm-11pm. I forget why. Either due to schedule experimentation, or one of the radio station's shows quit, or was canceled.
Previously actor Rutger Hauer had stopped by the studio for an awkward interview, I think, and so the next day "The Rutger Hauer Power Hour" drinking game was held ... just because, where the contestants drank every minute for sixty minutes. It was a Friday night.

I used to listen to ron and fez when they were on wnew in ny and not too many people knew about em. Im one of the early ass card holders too #1227 HOOHAA! Its good to have seen them grow so much and get more attention. Too bad i never get the chance to listen to em often anymore :(

I got XM radio more because of them than O&A. Their unofficial website posts some hilarious clips of their current shows. The XM website offers free listening trials.

Two really talented guys. Fez sounds like Richard Simmons mom and Ron sounds like a character from Mean Streets.

This episode was amazing. For the next week Ron kept joking that they were going to have famous B movie stars

on. He would say: "Hey, Henry Silva is coming in." or John Saxon or Wings Hauser. Hilarious.

I recommend listening sober. It makes way more sense.

Feel the same way, I think I was a card holder in the 1000 range too...HoooHaaaa!!! Also used to have the official bathroom inspection stickers.  Live in CO now so cool to hear them.
