  • I wish radio was still cool like this. DJ's use to be larger than life. Maybe radio wouldn't be in the state its in today if corporations hadn't taken it over and killed personality.

  • wls,wolfman and 1976!

  • Bogey check

  • Man, WLS brings back some memories! If the weather was right we were able to pick it up at Ft. Bragg, N.C. on saturday nights.

  • Now they have Landecker playing lame 8-track tapes from the '70s- how sadly fitting...

  • Wolfman....RIP... and thank you for sharing your talent with us...you will never be duplicated

  • anybody got the Pointer sisters with a "custom - FIRE" "I'm ridding in your car listening to (WLS)

  • @wvaguy Wolfman Jack is the greatest jock of all time! J.R. Landecker, (who cursed me out on the phone when I was a kid and then hung up on me) is a loser now, and was a loser then! Simple math: John Landecker = douche bag!!

  • I can remember listening to this great DJ as a kid, and thinking he was the coolest dude in the biz. He is missed. Probably the most famous DJ in history.

  • I remember listening to the Wolfman in the early sixties when he was on a station in Del Rio Texas. The station was in Del Rio but the transmitter was in Mexico so they could transmit a LOT of power! HIs voice and the wolf calls were wonderful.I sure miss those days.

  • the sound of our youth!

  • Does anyone else think some of these records have been hyped?
