This is a most original video. Thanks for uploading. I should be interested to know if there is a lot of difference between the sound of a musical saw and an ondes martinot. How about a performance of the Turangalila Symphony with saw - that would be something!

OH my Gosh Stravinsky wrote stuff for the Saw!?!?!? This is pretty awesome.

No, he did not write for the Saw, We have re-assign the instrumentation for this work. He wrote this for Soprano and woodwind. We use the piano to play the clarinet and bassoon, the violin plays the oboe part and the viola plays the English horn. and yes, the Saw plays the Soprano.
