I think this was the first movie that made me cry...I hated the ending...nicholas sparks has this way of making you care about his caracters and then when you least expect it the story takes an unexpected 180 and leaves you frustrated ...

The book was muuuuuuch better! I really didn't like the female actress here, she was way to 'happy' compared to the Theresa from the book, but the whole movie had an other tone than the book.
