Car didnt spin at all. the benz was in full control the whole time. Benz could have backed off.

hmm, nice following vid!
My mistake - his mirror made it look like the Benz was about 20 degrees into an extra left turn... and I thought it did look like a very gentle (unintentional) second tap, though (obviously) from your cam it looked like a kinda continuous contact until track exit
...I did follow the Benz a bit (first driver of the day, anyhow) and saw the Z a couple of times - neither of them took turn 8 elegantly (any time I saw 'em anyhow) :-p

Yea, both drivers could have done things differently. Giving up on catching the car was a mistake by the rice rocket car, and the merc could have also stayed the hell out of they way to begin with, they weren't pushing that hard the entire race. Regardless of the incidents, it was a great weekend. See ya next time guys!

If you look in the mirror really closely the Benz was starting to spin when the drivers' hand went up - he got the second tap on the Z with the tail of his car - which probably kept him from following the Z into the dirt... you gotta play it lots and lots to see it.

That guy had his hand off the wheel and got behind the car- he could've saved it! That said, I don't know how/why the Benz got into him in the first place!
