Ive run this now eight times mostly during the late nineties and have a decent time of 2-16 for it.
Its not that hard with the hills really within the first 5.5 miles of the race with the rest being undulating and flat.
Ive always been lucky with the weather thank goodness.I cannot imagine running this in heavy rain or high winds.
Like all long distance races Rhayader especially,if you have not trained for the distance you will finish in discomfort .
That hill at 13m is the hardest .
