It's great to have an alternative to bringing a car seat on board but a reminder; NEVER check a car seat in as luggage as the CARES people promote. Use the CARES harness if you don't need a car seat at your destination or have a car seat arranged (but not through a rental car compay-scary seats!)
I transport my 25lbs car seat through airports no problem, using a metal luggage cart. I'm alone with three kids and it's not a problem!
