If it weren't for the Virgin Mother of God..there would be no Savior! God created Her to bring forth His only Begotten Son for the Redemption of Mankind. This is truly an ignorant statement. Just as with Job or any other agent ALmighty God uses, there is no saying "No." The Child was conceived, and the angel messenger was telling her how it was going to be.
The Word became flesh. He existed before the creation of time and matter. To say Mary is the "Mother of God" is not correct. She is the mother of the earthly human manifestation of Jesus Christ.. the Messiah. Jesus is co-eternal with the Father.

Synonymous parallelism was a very common way of teaching in the ancient Hebrew culture. No where does it mention the using of the restroom either, but I am sure that happened too. The point is the message being conveyed. Glory was not going to be placed upon His earlthy mother.
