This episode is on the season one DVDs of "Here's Lucy". If you "love" Lucy (like I do), go out and buy it. (The lady who played Mrs. Warren in the clip seen here, Barbara Morrison, also played a nasty -- i.e. funny -- character in another season one episode of "Here's Lucy": "Lucy's Working Daughter".

I don't really know, either, except I understand they were trying to sell guest stars, especially ones that are still around and could provide commentary (like Wayne Newton and Carol Burnett), or where they had rehearsal footage available (Sammy Davis, Jr.). Still, that doesn't explain why they would pick something like that Helen Hayes episode over this! By the way, I like your handle. :)
