Unbelievable. I'm in college again!

@mistersmoothindc absolutely agree! Sure, 'Silence' isnt in the same vein, per se, as 'Whose Afraid', but I have always thought that 'Silence' showed a maturation of form, nuance and composition that bloomed until 'below the waste.'

God, this brings back sooooo many memories, good ones, the Upstage in Pittsburgh, Confetti, and (crap, I can't remember the name of the club, but it was in an old movie theater on 6th street). Too many good times then. Thanks for posting.

I have read reviews where i guess purists say all the albums after Whose Afraid Of? are just downhill. But i strongly disagree and In Visible Silence is a prime example. They said the band just was never as original etc but god this music is so fabulous, completely original. Ok yes Peter Gunn is a cover but its my favorite cover of Peter Gunn and it re-intorduced it into my life and the lives of my generation when no one else was. This stuff is intense, original, nothing like it. Walt
This original is still the best version of the song. Long live the 80's!
