So this is a song I wrote a while back that I just randomly decided to record this afternoon because I had a few extra minutes. It's a little shaky in places being spur of the moment and I know my voice has a nice horrid lack of sleep flatness to it but hopefully it's fairly good anyway. Oh, and you might want to turn the volume nearly off towards the end (3:03-ish). I still haven't figured out how to hit this big note without screaming my lungs off and I'm sure it sounds absolutely terrible and insanely loud on the computer. Ok, I'm done apologizing for myself now, lol.
LYRIC:
"Water"
Words & Music By
Julia M. Collins
Everything you said is drowning me
Like water flowing through my mind
Everything you said is drowning me
Like water flowing through my mind
Everything you said is drowning me
Like water, now the truth pours out
And anything I say would pull me down farther
But to panic gotta open my mouth
To find what is left in here
Soggy and dark mildew green
Gotta ring out, ring out
Ring out everything
What all is left in here
Is murky, damp and mildew green
I'm ringin' out, ringin' out
Ringin' out everything, oh, everything
