1.5 vtec is economical vtec 115hp , 1.6 vtec is vtec with 160 hp

this is a d15 engine they also did a d14 in the same model and years. and yes vtec sohc
this is more economical but still faster 0.60

stop Ek3 civic hatchbacks and coupe's are not vtec, they have a system called vtec-e, basicly its the economicle version of the startard vtec and use a low profile cam between 700-3000ish RPM. If u have a Ek3 that u know hasn't had a engine swap its not a vtec
