Surely, you cannot expect people to be convinced just because you, an anonymous user, claim that an unnamed psychic is the real thing?

Would *you* be convinced, if you didn't believe in psychics, and someone else said what you said?

If you do, then you have a terrifying low threshold of gullibility. It sure doesn't take much to convince you of something.

If you don't, then you think that everyone else are more gullible than yourself.

THESE PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE PYSCHIC THEN APPEARING ON THE TV SPECIALS SHOULD HAVE A BACKROUND CHECK BEFORE HAND OF ACCUARCY TO THE NEAR 100% MARK. DID SHE SOLVE CASES OR NOT. PSYCHICS SHOULD BE ABLE TO PRODUCE NAMES PERFERABLY FULL NAMES & LOCATIONS ALONG WITH OTHER PERTINENT FACTS. THIS IS WERE JAMES RANDI IS RIGHT & SEARCHES FOR EVIDENCE OF THE SAME. There are good and bad psychics, thats all. I had readig done over the telephone, in a different country than my mother died, the medium on the other side didnt even know how I look like or my last name. She got my dead mother spot on and I am never going to give up psychic readings, because there is such thing as life after life you just need your own experience.. And I have to tell you I am not religious, I don't believe in God but after the reading I am not sure anymore..

I don't believe or indulge in fortune telling and have never gone to a psychic, but I met Rosemary about 10 years ago at a recording session. There was no way that she could have known anything about my life. Yet, she stopped mid-recording and "saw" a man standing behind me. She told me many things about my deceased father and also information about my old house that I was repairing at the time. So, there may be circumstances where one has to question her ability or verify it. It was very spooky

these people lost love ones close to them. they need comfort and are willing to do anything to believe that their love are are still with them. so these fraud like altea take advantage of them.

@milkveins Lots of people rave about how good this or that psychic is. They say that "she told me my birthday" when in reality she might have said "Does such and such a date mean anything to you?" They ignore the times that she gets things wrong. She'll say things that apply to everyone such as "You have some problems with motherhood." Everybody has problems with motherhood whether with their own mother, getting pregnant, not getting pregnant etc.
