California Republicans boo a RINO - WARNING

Former California Lt. Governor Republican Abel Maldonado was booed yesterday by fellow Republicans at the CRP Victory Party in Irvine. Though there were no Republican victories to speak of, Mr. Maldonado got a negative response from the crowd with shouts and jeers regarding his compromise with the California Legislature that resulted in the biggest tax increase in the state's history. Abel Maldonado also sponsored Prop 14 last year which would not only allow open primaries, it would only allow the top two candidates in the primary regardless of party to be on the ballot.

Let this be a warning to our new crop of Republicans that compromise is a tricky business especially if it turns out to have advanced the other side's position the furthest.
