In Creem magazine, in the late-'70s/early-'80s, Chrissie referred to herself as "an old dog." She SO NOT A DOG. And she was FAR from old back then. Back then, her trademark was carrying a hairbrush about with her.

I just idolized her to no end. No old. No dog. Just a hairbrush.
