I DONT KNOW WHAT UR SAYING MEN, TXU ENERGY IS THE BEST ELECTRICITY COMPANY IN TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!
-
champion electricity their number is877-653-5098, get the 1 yr plan at rate 8.3.6
-
it's still going to move but every hour you need to see if the numbers change, the office the are cheating by letting someone reset thier meter, i told txu about someone that was doing that they told me it wasnt my business to worry about that and they werent concerned about it, well good luck fighting it. i have the same problem, but if you can switch to chamoion they have the lkowest rates 8.3.
-
your an idiot, if you knew anything about how the industry works, txu just bills you it's your TDU transmission distribution utility that reads the meters and sends your kwh your usage to your provider whom ever you choses to be and they bill you, and did it ever occur to you that perhaps the office is on a commercial meter!! they are billed in kw not kwh which results in higher bills unlike your residential meter, turning off the power is not going to turn off the meter it's there to obtain kwh

You are a buckethead. Electric companies SCAM people all over the US. I'm getting ready to start a class action against one now. Your an ignorant fool...or an electric company employee. Oh, sorry...that was redundant.

I just logged onto my account & got the same shock u did! I got a bill for $356 without having changed any of my energy using habits. I live in a 3 bdrm, 1 story home that averages out between $140-$160. After having an "energy saving" thermostat installed in my home thinking it would help bring our bill even lower, now this. My neighbor lives in a 2 stry and got a bill for $400, even worse, she hasn't even been home in 2 solid months!!! Explain that
-
@BucketheadLS1 Uh companies that large that the only ones that CAN get away with scamming people like that. 178 for his one bed room, is RIDICOLOUS. I have more shit, lights on ALL the time (i have a thing with all ights being off), and my shit NEVER goes up past 70 (I use TXU) But TXU has cut my power off 2 times, for nonpayment (i share account with my family who has a different house), they don't pay and I do, I get my shit cut off, and they don't. Bullshit.
ok send me your meter point of delivery number so i can check your case look for a number POD and i can check

is more difficult to make a youtube video than call to the company for a reread on the meter, jaja, and i can not believe someone that has some appliances and not connect them,

@nessnake123 I did call em, got kept on hold forever on my daytime minutes. They chagerd me and had me wait a couple months to tell me that my meter was "within regulation". but i keep things unpluged because it drains electricity keeping them plugged in when they are not in use. but i switched and im good now. bill was $47.00 this month. same meter, same appliances, same patern of energy use. that dang near 400% decrease. not a mistake... if these meters are as "smart" as they say they are.

A company this large cannot afford to "scam" residential customers because the fines and media implication would be unreal. Mistakes are made and if you believe there is an error, it is not TXU Energy "scamming" you. Call Oncor and get the meter read sorted out or have them explain it to you. $178 isn't really that high of a bill, especially if you're on a high rate. TXU Energy offers many different plans to lower your rate.

@BucketheadLS1 "It's a flaw in the system, and we knew that," said Randy Dieterle, senior manager of PG&E's SmartMeter system.
What happened, according to Dieterle and other PG&E representatives, is that Vanderhorst's SmartMeter was not transmitting a signal as it should, and so the utility's computer system automatically filled in the blanks with data patterned after his past power usage, or that of customers like him.
NEED I SAY MORE??
