Age of Conan: Dark Templar tanking in a minigame

Age of Conan 1.05.5.1 (video captured 16th october 2009)

Lvl 70 Dark Templar with battlekeep bonuses and without any pvp gear holding flag in a 4 vs 6 capture the skull match. The gear isn't optimal so there is easily room for improvement. I'm not even that good player so can someone still say that dark templars are useless?

The trick is that the game increases armor and protection by sick amounts with the apprenticeships from minigames. That leads to this kind of fights where I have near 50% mitigation in frenzy stance. Add Soul Barrier and few other tanking tricks and a caster team isn't going to tear a DT into pieces too fast.

I could but I hate it when Youtube refuses to show me a video because it contains music without rights and because of that it can't be viewed in my country. Now at least that won't happen to anyone.

Aquilonia (PvP-RP). Pelailen vielä kun peliaikaa on sentään tuonne joulukuuhun asti maksettuna. Videon DT on nykyään lvl 80 ja lähinnä PvE hahmo. PvP:tä olen vedellyt PoMilla enemmän.

This game aint based on vikings. real stuff? i dont remember vikings being abel to summon deamens and shoot fire balls at each other....

Thats becouse the game is based on vikings and real stuff... other games is just fantasy :S but aion is a great game :)

For those of you who know nothing, watch mana bar (blue) DT's have an ability damage is absorbed up to 120 and turned into mana damage.

They also have an ability which gives them alot of magic mitigation.

Oh, and there are lowbies in that minigame.
