man, at the end of winter im getting another 450....i just traded my kfx450r off, i didnt like it all that much. im stuck between the LTR and TRX. the ltr has the wide stance, efi, and all that but the honda has the reliablity and very simple to work on. and for width you could just throw some wheel spacers on......whats your opinion on the two?

I'd go honda personally because a friend of mine had an LTR and sold it because it kept breaking all the time. Engine wise, i haven't had a single failure of anything. Couple of valve adjustments once in a while of course. For the rest, the axle bearing likes to take a shit and my case saver is fucked, my Sparks pipe is a bit loose where the muffler connects to the midpipe and my shift shaft is a bit worn but it's holding :p. Personally i'd go Honda, you'll be glad you did too!

@fukmerunin11 May be a little late now. But I own a 2006 450r bought it brand new in 2008 and didn't have 1 thing ever go wrong with it EVER. Honda reliability baby

hey i have a 05 trx450r and every how long do u have to adjust your valves and is it easy or how do u do it or do u take it to ur mechanic?

haha, well. see i ride some trails, and do alot of play riding, and i have a decent track and that stuff ya know. but the trx is a little out dated tho. still a great bike but not near the suspension either. but i had the kfx450r and i liked it ALOT, it was a real nice bike for everything really, plus reverse. im stuck between the ltr and kfx really now. it seems like they got the bugs worked out for 09 on the ltr so it should be good. i just dont know if i want a more mx bike or an all around.
