Continental Express 2537 landing on runway 26R at IAH. Check out the winglets! Full after landing briefing audio included. You can just barely make out a 737 landing on 27. BA 295 landed right behind us.

  • Where's the BA????

  • Sorry, it didn't make the film. Just commenting that it was the next arrival behind us. BA 295 from LHR-ORD

  • I fly on Eagle more than I do Continental Express, and Eagle may use reverse thrust in 1 out of 50 landings. They are trying to save fuel (and reduce engine maintenance), so if they have the runway, why bother with reverse? Reverse is an option on Embraer jets, not a necessity.

  • @madipides American Airlines (and the AMR corporation in general) is the only surviving 'big four airline' and has never filed for bankrupcy, so i guess its working :)

  • Nice video! What was your seat #?

  • they wouldnt use a ERJ-145XR they would propbably use a 737-800

  • She said "the use of cell phones is now permitted."

  • lol all the cell phones went on and then the attendant said no cell phones

  • i hope you get beat up for your lunch money.

  • Awesome!! Please keep thiss!!!!

  • at my company we land on 5000 foot runways and we don't even spool up the reverse thrust (per comp. manual).. we just "crack" them open. Brakes work really well.
