Some work in progress for the in-mission FTL functionality and showing Valkyrie for the first time. It's all early work in progress and thus, is NOT indicative of final quality. Yes, we know the FTL effect is wrong. It's a placeholder.

The song is called "Good Death", by artist Jeff Beal. It's from his fantastic work on the Shogun II Total War soundtrack. If you like the music, it comes free with the game. Please support Jeff Beal and Creative Assembly and pick up Shogun II ! It's a great game.

@Mazryonh - no idea, but that would be my guess, yeah. Our video views and page hits on moddb shot up by nearly 10,000 the day it was posted. I'm sure someone saw it and shat their pants at how good it was over BSGOnline :P We're not shutting down though. We'll have more information in a few days.

@FearLancer2 - Unfortunately it looks like that's the case. I've emailed the moddb moderators to see what the problem is. I'll post here once I find out.... *crosses fingers*

How do you make your ships jump around like that, or can't it be done untill the next release?

@Omegabigb - combat FTL drives are a feature for the next release, Beta 4.5. They're not currently in 4.1, neither is multiplayer.

I hope you can fight it man. You werent making a profit off this so there shouldnt really be a problem. I was so looking forward to 4.5 and multiplayer later on. You guys put out a mod that was of Game studio quaility and it looked amazing. So i hope it doesnt end because of some dumbass at NBC has their panties in a bunch. And i hope they read all this. They can go and get fraked! Oh wait, they might try and sue me for using a "trademark word" Go and get fraked again

Ah damn, so sorry to hear about the copyright infringement claim. That's always a big problem when working with existing franchises you don't have any rights to. Still, the mod basically was free advertisement for them - they just should have made some kind of deal allowing you to make use of the BSG universe instead, as long as it's non-profit. :(
