@HamptonRoadsTVFan Yep. Wimbledon '86 began on June 23, which was 42 days after the current logo made its debut (and it was also 20 days after I was born).
I think the first major sporting event to feature the current logo was actually World Cup '86 (which might have been earlier).

This would have started just over a month after NBC first adopted the current peacock logo (possibly the first major sports event with this version).
