Here's some random footage I recently found of Matt Hensley, Ron Allen and Sal Barbier ripping at an H-Street demo in Anne Arundel, MD. I believe it was the summer 1989 but I could be wrong. And please excuse my 16 year old former self for some of the clips being cut off and the poor camera work in general. Enjoy.

  • That is awesome. I was there for that. I use to enter the contest there for like three years. Got first the first two years. Lost bad the third. Thanks for the memories.

  • yeah, those contests were great! we used to head down from DE for them whenever we could. I remember seeing Sheffey down there just destroying it.

  • @MrGlenfistoffury That was Hensley that dude doesnt know who the hell who is.

  • @Nate2Skate2 That was Matt Hensley who skates regular and wearing black sneakers and Barbier skates goofy and has white sneakers. Also Barbier isnt white that definetly was Hensly doing that FS blunt to kickflip

  • @BonesRipper Yes they did.

  • @logan214 I was there for that one too. Crazy. Baltimore was the shit man. I was watching these kids skate the other day. They were just trying to look cool I think. Never saw a trick landed. They don't know shit about skating from the time you wake until you pass out. EVERYDAY. lol. Miss those days. Just chillin with my boys and not a care in the world.

  • @thepauldj I remember shawn sheffey killing it back then also. We use to skate at Lutherville elementary school when Denny from Island Dreams built metal ramps. Baltimore was the $hit back in the mid 80's. Thanks again.

  • I saw this same demo tour in Columbus, Ohio at Sunsports. Sal had just started skating for Indy and was riding these purple trucks, Matt had on that same Vallely shirt!

  • @MrGlenfistoffury THAT WAS SAL BARBIER

  • H-Street changed everything!
