  • Good demo with a good explanation. Do you always step back to counter, we do a similar technique but step in and counter with a left bong-sau, right strike, just seems a tad quicker to step in, just my too penneth worth; but well explained. Thanks

  • @phillipkempo Stepping back opens it up nicely for the demonstration, that's all.

  • @Sifuben Thank you :)

  • @Sifuben very super good master !!!! well done ! very informative and super duper effective ,i love non-bullshit and non-fancy stuff like this vid. Thx bro u rock

  • @Sifuben Not all of what I said was directed at you. I was also refering to other videos that I have seen on you tube. There is too much for me to say in the comment box. I will say this though. The technique you used would not work on anyone with skill. Please don't take what I said as an attack on you personaly. I don't mean it to be. I will make a vidoe response so we can have a more accurate discussion about it. I will try to have it up in a few days.

  • @azumaninjay "debunk" what exactly? If it is a bridge and it encircles, then it is Poon Kiu. The technique shown is the Poon Kiu from the Jiangmen lineage of CLF as passed down by GGM Wong Gong. The Poon Kiu from the Futsan and King Mui lines are different in their details, but in their essence are the same, because they adhere to the seed concept of Poon. How exactly is this bastardised? It's actually a pretty pure illustration of the teachnique as performed in the jiangmen line.

  • @CLFsilesia "tsop choy"

  • @CLFsilesia what he shows hew is not really poon kiu. its a snake movement. its ment to be an eye strike and redirection. I might make a vidoe to debunk this kind of thing. I have seen many bastardised versions of poon kiu. Its not that hard to understand how it works if its done correctly.
