Sang this in a vocal competition years ago, before internet. The highest rating was a rating of 1. I got a 2, unfortunately the only thing I was counted off on was my "dipthongs." My Oklahoman accent came through into the song. I never realized that, and was never told about it when I practiced the song. Now I'm able to hear recordings of the song, I understand it much more vividly.

Such wonderful, effortless long phrases. Caballe has a magic all of her own. She brings such a passion to this aria too.
