  • Of course! :)

  • I know it's a silly question but can you eat gum paste, I never herd of gum paste that's why I'm asking I don't really bake any cakes I just eat them :D hehehe

  • Not a silly question at all! :) Yes, you can eat gum paste. :)

  • Hi Laura, thanks for your videos. I just recently work with gum paste myself but is having some difficulty with it. I use Wilton as well and when I added color to it and started to roll it into a ball, it has this crack (not dry) but it doesn't seem to have a smooth surface. The texture seems right but I can't even roll it into a simple ball. Have you ever had this problem? Thanks in advance!

  • Hi! You're very welcome. Yes, when I first started working with gum paste I had cracks all the time because I wasn't very familiar with the material. You have to use LOTS of elbow grease and kneading to get rid of cracks. You REALLY have to knead fast and furiously to get it warm and get the wrinkles out. It helps ALOT to use a bit of shortening on your hands and in your work surface. :)
