Rock Band Custom - Nine Inch Nails "Closer" Full Band

This is an unofficial song and is not available in any Rock Band store.

I charted this personally. The vocal chart is awkward in places, but the guitar/bass/drums are pretty good. I felt like this song merited more than just a chart, so I also did custom character/camera animations and light shows. So watch it all because I spent a lot of effort making this look awesome. =)

This is the song everyone was talking about when NIN got two packs in Rock Band. Seeing the final result, it's not as bad as I thought it would be and I'd probably rate it in the top half of the 7 songs we already have.

FAQ
Q: How do you get your drums (or bass) audio higher than the other instruments?

A: In the main menu, go to Options, then Audio/Video Settings, then Adjust Audio. Then move the slider for all the categories except "Instruments" to the left. This will make whatever instrument you're playing louder than everything else.

Q. How can I play customs?
There's a long answer to this. The short version is:
1. You need the RBA file for the song you want to play.
2. You need to get a trial XNA Membership.
3. Then you need to go to http://creators.rockband.com, sign up, then install Magma.
4. Open the RBA file with Magma, stream the song to Rock Band's Audition Mode under the Extras menu.

Have you heard of RBN? The same tools they use to make songs for the RBN Music Store can be used to make unofficial songs like this for personal use.

This song was popular a year before Limp Bizkit even formed. The LB lyrics are a diss to NIN, and contains a lot of references to NIN's songs.

It's a response to something Trent Reznor said in an interview about Fred Durst making horrible music and that he probably misspelled "Break Stuff" the first few times he tried. Which I agree with.
