  • I have seen elk on gregory bald but for whatever reason the elk always goes back to the catalootchee valley.

  • @lycan7hropy1975 I think the reason the elk return to Catalootchee is that is where the main group of elk are, and they kind of stick together like a community of people.

  • Nice vid..does anyone know if Autumn ..maybe September..is a good time to see more animals? And, has anyone seen Elk out there? We heard there were Elk, but never got to see any. Thanks!

  • ok if there is alot of people behind in the park stop and point out the window and have cam and everone stop then everone are out of the car and there is not one thing there i did that and there where 40 people are looking then when i stop they yell at me and the they all mad then there was a bear full real so i stop to take a pic they strart hooking the horn then the park ranger comes think there is bear trying get in people cars then they get yell at it is something you need to do it fuuny

  • I went to Cades Cove in November 2006,hope to come back 1 day.Did,nt see any bears on my visit.Enjoyed watching.

  • we go to the smoky mountains at least once a year and it is not complete without a drive to cades cove,we were lucky enough in june 2009 to see 12 bear, which is rare for us we usually see maybe one if were lucky

  • i love cades cove there are deer absolutly eevrywhere and turky everywhere too and youll see dozens of bears i went last year in tennesee :)

  • We go to Cades Cove atleast two times a year. Wnnderful place!! I have great close up pictures and video of black bears in the cove...
