Han Solo honestly thought that he was done with the Rebel Alliance, and the Empire, at least for the time. He was back to his usual illicit cargo runs, when the Interdictor Cruiser Black Asp pulled him out in a system with an Imperial Battlestation, along with a fleet of Star Destroyers.

Mon Mothma's cunning mind devised a plan by which each side benefited from the aid of the other. She would dispatch the Alliance Navy to rescue Solo, if he would assist their clandestine information-gathering mission to Corulag. But first they needed to plant an EMP...

And if someone had told Colonel Zell that he would be in a small freighter with Han Solo for five and a half hours, and risking his neck through the Imperial garrison at the Vergesso Depot, he would have scoffed, and might have put that person on report. Yet, here he was.

"Well, Colonel, you are the best shot in the entire Alliance, and if you are on the gun and working operations, the Falcon will be much more efficient." He never could say no to Mon Mothma.

No, he didn't. It may be a moot point, as the series is on haitus until I get EAW for Mac and FRAPs loaded onto this fancy new electron box, but it's just a personal preference I have not to have sound in space.
