  • I have found a problem with the counting seconds part. I know that you can tell the distance of the lightning, but you can't tell the distance of the storm. Since a storm is so big, a lightning strike can happen anywhere in it.

    BTW, thanks for uploading these videos, they are very educational, Thank you!

  • Yes, that's right. That will give you distance from that particular bolt, not necessarily the distance you are from the storm, because the storm can be spread out quite a bit.
