I remember I would listen to this song all the time, especially on rainy days. Once my computer crashed, I couldn't find this song since I couldn't remember who it was by. But now I finally found it again =) Thank you for having this song up. It's too peaceful and relaxing to pass up on.

It's called Ocean Thunderstorm by Steven C Anderson
It's off the Song of the Ocean album, by NorthSound. Quite old, I bought the CD off Ebay 2nd hand. Some good songs on there.

thanks, I agree. Unfortunately I don't know the song's origins as I went through a lot of peaceful-meditation style songs in a media download program a while back, this was one of the ones that popped up and it didn't have the real title or artist.
