Different consoles have different strentghs & weaknesses. DREAMCAST Strengths: VRAM, Tex compression, Differed Rendering Weaknesses: Low RAM PS2 Strengths: Polygon pushing, versatility, jack of all trades Weaknesses: VRAM; weak on texturing GAMECUBE Strengths: Lighting, Water, Heat effects, smoothness Weaknesses: Suffered from lazy PS2 ports, perhaps due to its lack of a big advantage over PS2 XBOX Strengths: A texturing monster, thanks in part to its hard drive Weaknesses: Not as fluid as GC

in this video you showed the US version of the pc port. in the European version, there's a graphics-fix . then you have the same graphics as on consoles. the pc version has also advantages over the consoles. you can download high-res textures and cinematics and HDR-lighting mods ( check out enb-series ) . then you have much better graphics than on consoles

Mods or patch do not make Resident Evil 4 PC look any better IMO.Its still garbage compared to gamecube or even ps2 version.

@Strong810 Nah, Gamecube wins. Ps2 looks good but they cutted out a lot effects (water reflections, fire effects, some lightning effects...) But it looks very good for a Ps2 game. It's sad that the PC version looks so much worse than the weakest console of this generation. I actually give a shit about graphics but if they screw up the atmosphere it really sucks.
