Digger Man on the Neo Geo. Not an officially released game. I don't really know much about this game to be honest. Digger Man is obviously a clone of Boulder Dash. Although it's definitely not an amazing game and the graphics are very primitive you might well get some enjoyment out of it if you are a Boulder Dash fan.

  • Here's something interesting. After I did a research on this game, thanks to Maws and Arcade History, there is a little complications about this game. Toffy is originally engineered by Midas, thus it appears that East Coast Coin Company's "Dangerous Dungeons" took the game and got it to run as a rom hack on double dragon hardware. They later made Super Toffy, but it appears to be a rom hack. And years later, Kyle later ported or remake this game on NeoGeo as Digger Man, with slight changes.

  • Thanks for all that info. There's also a game called Diamond Run which is very similar and I think is by the same person. Some people still believe this game is an unreleased prototype by Face but that's definitely not true.

  • Looks like the main sprite was ripped from Gururin.

  • Great game, reminds me a lot of the NES game Boulderdash!

  • so is this game offical relased because i found it on ebay or is that just a replica

  • WOW. Boulder Dash clone :)

  • No problem. I couldn't able to put up a whole useful info in one comment, due to YouTube's character count limitations, resulting me to forgot to reply my same comment. Oh well, at least you found another useful info. :)

  • According to the website, MAWs, this game is developed and designed by Kyle Hodgetts in 2000. This game steals many sprites & sounds from Face's "Gururin". I may think that this game has not been seen in the public that much, except for the Rom image today.
