Never saw this show on TV but absolutely love it.

Could someone please answer my questions.

1) Why does the show have three different names (Diary/Week/Live)

2) How many seasons are there? Every year one season or every couple of years at random?

3) Any new seasons planned?

4) How do I get Johnathan's job? :D

1. The show is universally known as "Big Cat Diary" because that's the original name. The name changes are mainly because of format changes within the show, it was changed to "Big Cat Week" from 2004-2007 because a series of shows were shown within a single week of the year instead of random half hour shows several times a year which was Big Cat Diary's format. "Big Cat Live" is because in 2008 they made the show live in teh african night.

2. There are four seasons of Big Cat Week which are all on my channel and available on DVD. A good few seasons of Big Cat Diary which are shown in certain areas of the world on Animal Planet, available channels showing Big Cat Diary re-runs are also listed on my Youtube page. There has only been one season of Big Cat Live which was in 2008.

3. Nope, though there is evidence that the people in charge want to bring it back.

4. Haha, well Jonathan Scott is a zoologist and photographer, so if it was a serious question then study zoology or wildlife and get into photography, if it's africa your into, you can eventually choose to specialize in african wildlife.

so happy all the big cat stars are doing awesome, wish they did more of an update then just flash backs of what happened during big cat live.

Cant wait to go the the Masai Mara in February staying at the same camp they did it will be awesome to see them all in person.

old format was way better, a bit of both would b gd however in big cat live for 3/4 of it they r sitting round and talking by the camp fire so we barely c any actually cat footage keep the internet thing cut the sittin around

Simon is the better narriator b/c he speaks clearly and whenever he has something to say and cuts into the lion's shine, it's something worth listening to!

@shazzqsong ..yeah I was just wondering that. I thought they said cheetahs arent social but these brothers are bonded ..I wonder if they would have stuck w/ moms protecting her if she was still alive

Its strange how females cheetahs who are weaker and could use more help are solitary (unless they have cubs) and the larger and stronger male cheetahs are social.
