Let's see, singers who make millions from capitalism and live the high life, then sing a song about helping the losers of capitalism.

If they didn't suck up so much wealth themselves then may be some of it could be spread around more evenly.

So they sing a song to deflect attention from their own greed! (Oh and it also helps boost their profiles and hence more sales)

If they were really that bothered they would give their own wealth to help. BUT THEY DON'T!!
