Thank you for the video. Lost treasure for Lao people. My Dad told me that Muay Lao does existed long time ago. Masters in the old generations knows Muay Lao but they refused to teach because they worried that practitioners will using it in negative ways. So Muay Lao died with the Masters. Muay Lao and Muay Khmer does look similar but Muay Lao uses magics. Peace.

@bakpade you been on the herb a bit too much rofl Muay Chaiya has a recorded history. And no it wasn't invented in Laos lol you guys starting to turn into khmers lol claiming everything to be from you lol
That style is similar to the Shan style Lai Tai. One of the original Tai martial arts but then with so much Viet influence it could be influenced form them also.

Muay-lao kai-yaar now a day they called it muay thai-chaiya ...we gave away muay-lao,but we never give away the magic power..pretty long story to tells..
some old people wanted it to be with laos people only.,,meaning our secrets :-)

@Sookchai I used to think like you. It's look more like
dancing than martial art. But what i thought was wrong,
in the real fight !! they're a lot faster then i thought. I
witness the fight with my own eyes between Taekwando
and muay laos. Some old lao guy fought with taekwando
intructor and he knocked the TKD out less then 2 mins.
Never under estimate other martial art,just like Tai Chi
like slow but deadly

hi sir, i give u gold star. i think u must know everything. anyway, martial art may mean serious as u beleive, but what they did overthere just demonstrate of how it look like.they are not enemy to fight for life.
