The nature of football is designed for high speed , hard collisions , in the back field, with pads, the game of rugby is designed for short range collisions , mid speed collisions without pads. Rugby simply happens to have more " hard hits" per game. Both sports have great athletes . Soo much arguing. It's ridiculous .

@thAtflAshmAn They wear all that but yet still manage to nearly kill eachother, broken bones, concussions, paralyzations. Puts in perspective how hard they actually hit. I have to question now much you even know about this sport.

Ashame there wasn't the actual sound associated with the hits instead of that 'C' rap, or crap as I call it, and I guess it is appropriate as rap and violence do go together. I also agree that it is a hard hitting game if you play professionally, the smart ones usually survive it and either get out after they've made their fortune or become brain dead and a burden on the ever rising NFL's healthcare policies.........
