@sixnightsaweek AMEN! Most of the "Black" comedy shows show Black people in the most racist light I've ever seen! And no need to name names they and we know who they are. This show (Amos and Andy) represented the full scope of Black America. The Cosby show was fine. But some of the others around that time and even later were unbelievably stereotypical. Amos and Andy was just good old fashioned funny. And clean. No double entendres. Or snide so-called sex talk. And Amos and Andy still holds up!

The funniest show ever produced until the naacp struck there nose into it. Why don't they stick it in BET, or some of the music that is put out. There was nothing raciest about this show, it was just plain funny. The Christmas Show should be shown every year. CBS should pull their heads out and showit every year........

As a pre-school kid in the early fifties, I watched the syndication shows every M-F morning on WCBS in NY @ 9 ( in conjunction with @ 9:30 "My Little Margie reruns also). Other than "The Honeymooners" and "All In The Family" years later, it's never been rivaled. Too bad we're not allowed to see it anymore.
