Clicker Training Guinea Pigs

This is part of a play and exercise session with my clicker trained guinea pigs. They are not learning new behaviors, just practicing ones they know. This is part 1.

I use a "tongue" click which means I make a sound with my mouth which is similar to the mechanical clicker. It is softer, did not startle the pigs and frees up my hands.

what are u feeding them?

I have used various treats but the one that works the best is little pieces of baby carrots which is what I am using here.

Cute! Clever! I am convinced that Guinea Pigs are as smart as dogs. Have a look at our Guinea Pigs doing tricks and agility. I do not use a clicker.

how do you avoid getting ur guinea pig from peeing on the carpet?

but i always feel a little scared when feeding them cause they feel like they want to bite me..lol
