Jack'd Skimboards started on Whidbey Island, located on the far Northwest corner of the United States, in the Puget Sound. Whidbey Island offeres premium flatland skim conditions with low tides stretching as far as the eye can see. Tired of riding cheaply made mass produced skimboards that did not work well, the Jack'd Team decided to take matters into our own hands, designing the first skimboard prototypes in 1999.
on plywood skimboards do you grip it or wax it like a surfboard for grip or what...how do you get traction without the pads
